    my friends, i would like to see to the group Change singing “A Lover´s Holiday” in Soul Train; they sang on the Show or not?? but i remember, i had to see for many years that Don Cornelius presented the song with the beautiful Dancer people!! i would like to see this video too please! somebody have this one??? thanks from Berlin! ;-)=

    No one cany deny where they were every Saturday morning at 11:00 waiting for Soul Train to come on TV. Sometimes we had to complete our household chores during the show even dancing with the vacuum cleaner as we worked. However, when the Soul Train line came on everything came to a stop so we could learn the latest dance moves. Without a doubt these were some of the happiest times of my childhood growing up in the 70′s. There will never be another Soul Train. Thank You Don Cornelius for being such an inspiration, innovator and pioneer that provided the sound of music and funky fashion to a changing time. No one can deny your contributions and your memory will live on. In your prophetic words, “May you find love, peace and soul as you make your transition home. Peace and Blessings Always.

    I grew up in the inner city of Kansas City and Soul Train was NEVER missed by me and my friends!
    They started this skinny white boy from KC on a life long journey of dancing many nites away….It has helped me keep my sanity for the last 30 yrs!
    Many thanks to all who participated in Soul Train and more importantly the man…Don Cornelius….I wish you Love, Peace & Soul on your journey brother!

    Just remember that Dj’s break music first and Mr. Don Cornelius being a true native of Chicago went to L.A. with an idea he develop in my city and changed lives yall. That’s one of the things Dj’s should remember about him…. he was a DJ 1st. Chicago still loves you Don, R.I.P.

    i’m sorry about what happened but don killed him self which means that he didn’t die form old age he did how ever break god’s law that has sided tout shell not kill he killed himself -n- at judgement day he will face a angry so i have no remosis for don because he himself -n- the almighty god will not forgive him for that -n-that’s the truth -n-notthing but the truth so help me god.

    I’m still heartbroken over the passing of Don Cornelius. Soul Train was the show and it will always be my Favorite show. Don put the Soul in Soul Train He’s a Pionner this man deserves a Statue for what he has done for our people and our culture. I Live in NC WGN Channel 18 from 12 to 1 My Eyes was glued to that T.V.     I was born in chicago in 1960. The day after Don Cornelious past, Centric had a soul train marathon. I found myself glued to the tv all day watching every episode. Just like back in the day, I eagerly looked forward to the soul train line. I havent danced this much in 30 years. Soul Train was a wonderful part of my youth. Thank you Don Cornelious for all you did for us. RIP

    One of the happiest moment in my life is music, the pleasure i like most is music espscially when it come to (SOUL TRAIN).When i remember the 80″s when my uncle travel to U S A soul train vedio music is what i want to see in his lougage, i never knew at this time i will find it difficult to find such records especially here in nigeria were the means of storage is not even considered now i always ask form friends i never get them until this day when i discover soultrain on the internet. please how may i have the vedio

    I am the biggest Soul Train fan of all time! It was my favorite show growing up, and it still is today. I couldn’t wait ’til Saturday morning to see that train chugging and bouncing around, and hearing the announcer say, “The Soooooooul Train!” I learned so much from watching Soul Train. I not only learned how to dance, but how to really get down. I also learned to appreciate music, and how to appreciate being black, in a very positive way. Thanks so much Don, for bringing Soul Train into my life, and for all of the memories it has given me. I wish you “Love, Peace, and Soul!” Rest in Peace!

    I also enjoyed Soul Train it was one of my favorite shows back in the day since I am from Old School music. I like getting up early and listening to the music and doing my own moves. Thank you Don Cornelius for that expecience you gave to the black people. The music today is hard to understand but the music back then had meaning to the songs.

    DirecTV does not carry Bounce TV. It does however carry BET and Centric. So what are you guys waiting for. Start airing the classic episodes! I’d much rather watch classic Soul Train as opposed to old reruns of The Parkers and Girlfriends.
