  1. Jesse Johnson says:

Don Cornelius will really be missed. I thank him for his contributions to the African-American culture. Soul Train got me thru the service (71-73). When Lil Joe got me on Soul Train, I thought I had gone to heaven and back (73-75). The recent tribute to Don Cornelius at Marvericks Flat in Los Angeleswas great. It reminded me of the old days when we would party there after Soul Train filming. Pat Davis came from Vienna, Austria, Tyrone “The Bone” came from New York, Jimmy “Scoo B Doo” Foster from Las Vegas, Damita Jo Freeman, Don Campbell, “Slim” the Robot and the list goes on. Ihope to see everyone on at least an annual basis. Let me know if any of you know the wheareabouts of my dance parner, La Quinta Gross. I have not seen her since I attended her wedding about 1978.

  3. Benida Frazier says:

I love soultrain, can someone bring it back to the the tv screen on a weekly basis like it was? Please please please please please please.

  4. Charlene says:

I went to the taping of the soul train awards in Las Vegas Nov. 7, 2014.
I must say I was alittle disapointed. don’t get me wrong it was good, but not great. In the future I would like to see sceens crop in of Don Cornelius announcing the entertainers / winners. I also would like to see more of the old school entertainers on the show. Make the show feel like soul train, and last but not lease No more Wendy Williams. Love her on her own show , but she was dry on the soul train awards.

  5. Hi Jesse how are you, so sorry that I just now saw your message, would have been nice to see you again, hope to hear from you.

  6. LaQuenta Gross says:

Hi Jesse Johnson, I’m alive and well, so sorry I missed that event in 2012
