On November 30, 1982 Michael Jackson’s album Thriller was released and born into the universe. Thirty years later to date, Thriller remains the greatest selling album of all time. On November 30, 2012, fans, friends, recording engineers, producers, celebrities, and more will gather together in Las Vegas, Nevada to celebrate Thriller’s 30th anniversary at the Thriller Tribute Show and Awards Ceremony.
Michael Jackson first went into the studio on April 14, 1982 to begin the recording process. This album was more than just a collaboration of great music; it was an album of spiritual and psychological freedom, not being bound or enslaved to a particular genre or style of music due to a person’s race or nationality.
The 30th Anniversary of Thriller Tribute Show, a community awareness event, will feature a lineup of the most talented performers in Las Vegas and will be held at Cazino’s Supper Club. The audience can look forward to award-winning entertainment by The Las Vegas Hi Steppers Drill Team Drum Squad, and ASCAP winner and three-time Black Music Award nominee Airamis Cyril, will be performing Michael Jackson’s classic, “Lady in My Life.”
