There are certain bags that most people will agree on are timeless classics worthy of the hefty price tag, like an Hermes Birkin or a Chanel 2.55 quilted flap. They are indeed classics but there are five new bags that are coming in as the new guard, if you will.
This is the oldest bag on the list, and for a good reason. The bag costs a pretty penny but nothing like the coin it would take to bring home a Birkin or 2.55. The top handles make the bag travel friendly and easy to lug your everyday essentials. They come in several sizes so there is something for everyone.
This bag has the functionality of the Speedy but with edgy details like the studded bottom and pebble leather. They also come in fun colors with rose gold, gold or silver hardware.
This bag’s been spotted on the arm of many celebrities and fashion editors because of its simple design and roomy, sophisticated shape.
The PS1 is great because it has the schoolgirl charm with grown up hardware and details. Black is always nice but options for color are pretty great, too.
Now this bag is for the girl who loves the PS1 but is pretty hard on her bags. The Cambridge Satchel is handmade cut from sturdy leather meant to act as a school bag. But with colors like fluorescent pink and polka dot it’s hard not to want to pick one up for yourself. Plus, it’s the least expensive bag out of all those listed here.
So ladies, what do you think? Are any of these bags worth the investment to you, or have they already made their way into your heart and closet?
