Singing about crispy chicken, fresh lettuce, cheese and a tortilla at random was not what Mary J. Blige signed up for when she shot an ad for Burger King.
Addressing the now controversial advertisement, which was pulled fromYouTube and other sites due to “licensing issues,” Blige says what fans saw online earlier this week was not a finished product.
“I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence. Unfortunately, that’s not what was happening in that clip,” Blige said late Wednesday.”I understand my fans being upset by what they saw.
