Since her release from jail, just over two months ago, So So Def recording artist Da Brat has rarely spoken about her experience in the big house. Da Bart, who was sentenced to a three year jail term for aggravated assault, caught up with the good folks over at Rolling Out TV, whilst backstage at an N.E.R.D. gig, where she gave a little insight into her experience behind bars.

When asked “What was it like being in there for them two years?” the emcee, who was the first female rapper to earn a platinum-selling album, stated “My life died as I knew it… being locked up. But I made the best of it. Read more >>
