Today’s installment of Train Stop Tuesday wasn’t even intended to be a trendspotting piece but we’d be remiss if we didn’t direct your attention to the ensemble of Mr. Don Cornelius.

That pattern wasn’t cold-blooded enough for just a blazer, if you pause the clip at the :37 mark you could see that he is indeed wearing a suit. His green satin shirt breaks up the pattern for the ideal splash of color. Some may think that look is long gone, but it often pops up at the runway shows by international design house Custo Barcelona.
