Everyone wants to know the perks of being an intern for Soul Train. There are so many, but hanging out with Trey Songz has got to be one of my favorites. He is such the southern gentleman. We of course are great friends and he is always super-excited to see ATI (Asha the Intern – I’m creating my own acronyms), and of course I was thrilled to see him.

Usually before the interview, I have some time to talk and interact with artists. This time I stayed in the same hotel as Trey—actually, on the same floor and our rooms were next door! So of course I saw him when he arrived in the lobby—and I bumped into him on the elevator, and in the hallway. You see where this is going. If you want more details you have to follow me on Twitter.

But back to Trey—he’ll give me an interview no matter what (because we are such great friends). In this particular case he was extremely tired after putting on an amazing show, but he still found time for the Soul Train V-log. If you are a fan of Trey, know that his inside truly matches his outside—beautiful.
